Many centuries ago, when it was decided that only good children would be rewarded with a visit from Santa Claus, the Elves faced a problem: how could they keep track of every child’s behaviour across the world?
Using a little of their magic, the Elves created the Naughty & Nice Year Glass. When each child is born, they are given their own special Year Glass in the Hall of Records at the North Pole. Every time they do something good, grains of sand move to the nice side. Every time they are naughty, sand shifts tothe naughty side. At the end of the year, Santa checks each Year Glass to create his famous lists.
Tall Santa owns a replica of the enchanted Year Glass and brings it with him to explain to children how he accurately maintains his nice and naughty lists!
